- Study diverse empires and societies from the 17th century to World War I using discussions, films, role-playing games, gamified activities, and other multimedia formats to gain insight into and connect with different cultures.
- Investigate significant historical events, conflicts, and disputes, and develop personal viewpoints through research and deduction.
- Assess the advancements and discoveries from the 17th century to World War I to recognize their impact on today's society.
- Understand and link the evolution of philosophies and political ideologies to the governance systems of the present-day world.
- Examine the stories of empires and nations from the 17th to 19th centuries to cultivate awareness and responsibility for the environmental, social, economic, and political elements of current society, in cooperation with other academic fields.
- Suggest solutions to historical and ongoing global challenges based on a comprehensive and profound knowledge of world culture, society, and geography.
- Explore the geographical features of Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Oceania during this timeframe to provide context for discussions on world history and culture.
